Active Leeds will change its membership prices from 5 January 2026. This is part of our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality health and fitness services. These adjustments will help us continue to invest in our facilities, maintain expert staffing, and expand the range of services we offer to support our customer wellbeing.
Since 2018 our membership prices have only changed by £1.00. According to the Bank of England’s inflation calculator, if we were to compare our standard membership price of £24.95 per month, set in 2018, we should now be charging £31.83 per month. Rather than go as high as this we are changing this price to £28.95.
Ahead of the change to the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA) expected in spring 2026, other elements of our membership structure will also change, which includes but not exclusive to, the removal of 12-month contracts (this is not the Annual membership that is paid as a one-off payment).
All existing members have been contacted either via email or post, should you have not received communication please email activeleeds@leeds.gov.uk to check we hold a correct contact details.
