LLGA Heart Watch Is it for me?
The programme supports people with long term health conditions, such as those recovering from a heart attack, cardiac surgery or sufferers of angina. It is also suitable for people with diabetes and other health conditions.
What does it involve?
The classes are circuit training, gym or chair based so giving a wide variety of exercises.
The intensity is tailored to each individual to gain fitness without over exertion. Each class has a British Association for Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR) qualified instuctor who can advise on the best exercise programme for each individual. The classes take place in council leisure centres across the city.

Heart Watch classes are available at the following leisure centres: Aireborough, Holt Park Active, John Charles Centre for Sport, John Smeaton, Kirkstall, Pudsey, Scott Hall and Wetherby.
