Offering a selection of rooms and suites suitable for all your requirements from small intimate meetings to large events for 2,400 people. Ideally located just off the M62 at J3 M621 and 2.6 miles from Leeds train station. Our facilities are all accessible.

Conferences, meeting rooms or weddings
Parkside suite can accommodate up to 180 delegates in theatre style or 150 for a dinner, with space for a dance floor. The suite has a fully fitted bar and spectacular views of the main pitch and outdoor athletics facilities, providing a flexible space for meetings, dinners, exhibitions, weddings, auctions, and much more.
Grandstand suite can accommodate up to 100 delegates in theatre style or 70 for dinner. With a fully fitted bar and overlooking the main pitch and athletics facilities, this room also links to the Parkside suite and could also be used as an overspill or break out area or buffet area.
Denison suite is situated in the aquatics centre and is light and airy and can accommodate 20 boardroom or 50 theatre style. This room has an integrated projector and speaker system and Wi-Fi is available. The room can also be split into two if smaller rooms are required.
Bowls, Tennis and Lecture meeting rooms these can accommodate 8, 15 and 25 people in a boardroom set up.
When hiring rooms equipment such as projectors, flipcharts, paper, flipchart pens and other specialised equipment can be provided (A cost may apply). Please contact the centre when booking for costs if required.
Team away days
Having your away day at the John Charles Centre for Sport means you and your team will have a day to remember. We have a range of facilities available to hire to create a stimulating day of team-building activities combined with meeting facilities when you need to get back to business.
Dug Out Bar
The Dug Out bar is suitable for post match drinks or buffets. The Dug Out Bar can also be hired for after-work drinks, small parties and events, race nights, presentation evenings etc.
