Getting started with Active Leeds Health Programmes
Our programmes support people to;
- Start moving
- Move more
- Use movement to manage health conditions
- Improve mobility
The journey starts with a conversation with a Health and Wellbeing Coach. You will be contacted and asked some questions based on the information submitted to start a conversation about, “What matters to you!” Support will be given to access any programme or activity, even ones that are not delivered by Active Leeds.
Active Leeds for Health supports individuals and groups with health problems and long term health conditions to lead an active, healthy life. The qualified and experienced team delivers a range of activities to support people to self-manage their health conditions through physical activity and support those at risk of falling to improve their strength, balance and coordination.
Programmes are delivered in a range of venues including local community hubs and leisure centres. All activities are delivered in a supportive and welcoming environment.
