Leeds City Council have two 'pay and play' courses set in beautiful parkland around the city that everyone can play, these are at Temple Newsam and Roundhay Park. There are concessions for juniors, OAPs, and priority LeedsCard holders, and an annual season ticket is available. If you want to book a tee time, find out about membership or what facilities the courses have please contact the individual golf club. These courses will be operating a telephone only bookings system for the foreseeable future.
Roundhay Park golf course is a classic nine hole course in mature wooded parkland, part of the Roundhay Park Estate. The course is 5322 yards with a par of 70.
Course facilities: •A well stocked pro shop •Course pro – for lessons and coaching tips •Practice facilities •Club membership •Public toilet facilities •Regular tournaments and special events for members •On site restaurant •Club house serving drinks and bar snacks •Club hire (hire charge £5)

Founded in 1923 Temple Newsam golf course was designed by Alister Macenzie (who also designed the Augusta National where the US Masters is held). Set in the Temple Newsam Estate, there is the 9 hole Lady Dorothy and Lord Irwin golf courses. The courses are located in parkland, with plenty of hazards and many interesting features.
