Swimming is a healthy activity that can be enjoyed by people of any age and ability. It offers a variety of health benefits and you can swim on your own or as part of a group workout. Use of snorkles, masks, fins and hand paddles in the pool is only permitted in our instructor led sessions.

    Aqua Fitness: Pool based fitness class. To book on in advance please go to the swim timetable
    Coached:Sessions taken by a qualified instructor to help you improve your swim technique
    Disability Swim: For adults and children with a disability
    Diving: Diving board at Aireborough Leisure Centre open to the public
    Female Swim: Exclusive use for females (It cannot be guaranteed that this session will be by female staff on all occasions)
    Fun Swim: A session where you can enjoy all the fun of the water as a family
    Junior Lessons: Lessons for children of all ability up to the age of 18
    Male Swim: Exclusive use for men
    Party: Available for party hire see our parties page for details
    Private Hire: The pool is hired by a private club at this time

1M Springboard Open: Public Diving

Adult Disability Swim Lessons: Swimming Lessons for adults with addional needs

Adult Swim: A general swim session for adults only. One lane or two lanes available during this session depending on size of your chosen pool.

Adult Swim Lessons: Swimming lessons for adults of all abilities

Aqua: A great low impact workout in the water. Suitable for non swimmers

Aqua Mobility: Strength and balance exercises performed in the water. Suitable for non swimmers

Available for Hire: Available slot for 3rd party hire

Available for Pool Party Hire: Looking for a venue to hold your child's birthday party. Then look no further than our swimming parties

Baby and Preschool Swim Lessons: Swimming Lessons from 6 weeks - up to 5 years. An adult is required to be in the pool with children aged 6 weeks - 3 years

Disability Swim: For adults and children with a disability

Disney Inspired Family Fun Swim Sessions: Join us for new Disney inspired themed pool adventures. Each 45 minute session provides endless family fun AND kids learn a key life skill - perfect for 3 – 11 year olds.

Diving Lessons (Adults): Learn to dive course developing a range of skills to achieve diving awards. Must be able to swim 50 metres

Diving Lessons (Juniors): Learn to dive course developing a range of skills to achieve diving awards. Must be able to swim 50 metres or completed stage 5 learn to swim

Family Float Swim: A session where you can enjoy all the fun of the water as a family. All children must be accompanied by an adult and adults you must be accompanied by a child.

Family Fun Swim: A session where you can enjoy all the fun of the water as a family. All children must be accompanied by an adult and adults you must be accompanied by a child.

Female Only: Exclusive use for Female (It cannot be guaranteed that this session will be lifeguarded by female staff) Lanes Available.

Fun Float Swim: A session where you can enjoy all the fun of the water with floats. Children over 8 are welcome to swim unaccompanied.

Fun Swim: A session where you can enjoy all the fun of the water. Adults you must be accompanied by a child. Children over 8 are welcome to swim unaccompanied.

Inflatable Fun Session (Pudsey & John Smeaton): Come and make a splash with floats and water equipment in this swimming session aimed at having fun. For children only ages 8-16 who can swim 25 metres.

Inflatable Fun Session (Rothwell): Come and make a splash with floats and water equipment in this swimming session aimed at having fun. For children only who can swim 25 metres. Under 8’s who can swim 25 metres must be accompanied by an adult on a 2 children to 1 adult ratio.

Junior Disability Swim Lessons: Swimming Lessons for 5-15 years with additional needs

Junior Swim Lessons: Swimming lessons for 3-15 years all abilities catered for

Lane Swim: Lanes available for all speeds. Swimmers must be able to swim continuously for 50m without the use of aids. Please follow our guide to lane swimming.

Lane Swim (Masters Lanes Available): Lanes available for all speeds. Swimmers must be able to swim continuously for 50m without the use of aids. Please follow our guide to lane swimming. Masters lanes for swimmers of a competitive standard available during this session

Let's Get Active: Take part in a Leeds Lets Get Active (LLGA) swim (Part of the LLGA £10 monthly membership or £2 pay as you go). The session type will vary from centre to centre. Registration with LLGA required. One lane available during this session.

LGBT Swim: Fully inclusive swim open to all. Lanes available

Male Only: Exclusive use for Males (It cannot be guaranteed that this session will be lifeguarded by male staff) Lanes Available.

Private Hire: Private hire of swimming pool by a 3rd party

Public Swim (1 Lane): A general swim session for all ages and abilities for fun or fitness. One lane available during this session.

Public Swim (2 Lanes): A general swim session for all ages and abilities for fun or fitness. Two lanes available during this session.

Public Swim (Small Pool): A general swim session for all ages and abilities for fun and family time. Adults you must be accompanied by a child.

Public Swim with Diving (2 lanes): A general swim session for all ages and abilities for fun or fitness. Two lanes available during this session. 1M Springboard and Small Platform available for diving.

Swimfit Coached Adults: A coached session for those aged 16+. This session aims to maintain or improve fitness and, or your stroke. Please note this is not a swimming lesson

Swimfit Coached Junior: A coached swimming session for Juniors only. This session aims to maintain or improve fitness and, or your stroke. Please note this is not a swimming lesson
